1. Honestly, it made me hungry!
2. I think this product placement is good. It doesn't seem out of place because the product (sponsor) is food and the show is Top Chef. If the product (sponsor) had been something random like BoFlex, then it would have been bad.
3. I would say yes. The only reason I think this is because they are incorporating the food, the events, and the show as if they were one cohesive idea. This would make people associate each of them with each other.

1. This clip made me excited to watch the show! I love cooking, even though I'm not very good at it, so these shows are my favorite.
2. The product placement in this clip is good because it's used as part of the "story". Padama is trying to entice you to watch this show by giving the viewers all the necessary details. Healthy Choice and all the listed venues and events were just part of that story.
3. Like I said before, the product placement was embedded into the story line of this clip. By doing so, not only is the product being promoted, but so is Top Chef.

1. The clip made me feel excited for the new season, and then a little freaked out when the octopus came on the screen. It looked so slimy!
2. I thought the product placement was good. The sponsors that were highlighted pertained to the subject (food), and were done naturally toward the end, which is a big highlight. All the press clippings were shown nicely as well, a more subtle form of product placement I think as they were making themselves a product shown in those publications.
3. Yes, because like I stated before it promoted itself through all the features and accomplishments of their Top Chef winners, as well as the fact that there have been many seasons and it's still on the air.

1. The clip made me feel excited for the competition and grossed out when the guy cut his hand. I wanted to watch this show after seeing this clip.
2. This product placement is good because it shows the brands it wants to make money on like Healthy Choice and the New York Times and the names they listed of chefs. I think good product placement makes you excited to buy the product, and sells it to many people from what I have learned in Journalism and this clip.
3. Top Chef did promote itself by showing the logo many times and the naming the things Top Chef is known for. The competition, the things Top Chef is known for, and the money for the winner made me excited to watch Top Chef. I am also from Texas, so the fact that Top Chef is in Texas makes it more important to me.

1. How did this clip make you feel?
-The clip made me excited. I am a broadcast student, so I strive to edit all my footage to be as engaging as this one.
2. Is the product placement in this clip good/ bad/ or mediocre (in the middle) and how did you come to that conclusion?
-I think it was good. I barely even noticed the product placement, so Top Chef did a good job at making it look natural.
3. By using this product placement, did Top Chef promote itself as well? Why or why not?
-Yes, one on of the Healthy Choice boxes, the Top Chef logo could be seen.

1. The video clip made me want to see the crazy Top CHef show. It was cool to see that a guy got cut and the prizes at the end
2. The product placement is good and bad because they show you a lot of Top Chef stuff in the chef coats and winners and brands. It is bad product placement because I wanted to see just the guy cutting his finger not the whole show after I saw that. I dont get what good or medium or bad means but Id say its good and bad.
3. Yes Top Chef promoted itself all over the place in the chef coats and cooking stuff and prizes they are giving out to winners and the logo at the end with their name. Top Chef promoted itself here to get me to watch the show!!!

1) Video made me interested in show, and a little grossed out when I saw the guy cut his hand open
2) I think the product placement was pretty good, emphasising different ads and products throughout the whole clip without bringing much notice to that.
3)Yes most definitely. It had many "cliff hangers" for the show which would probably attrack more viewers

#1. This video of Top Chef got my adrenaline pumping. I like the violence and that only one wins
#2. The product placement is REALLY GOOD! It gets Top Chefs name out and other products out l10-15 times. I saw and heard and the products were implied unlike the last video where the products were just seen/ heard. They used many ways to get Top Chef branded.
#3. Yes, Top Chef promoted itself really well. They had a lot of advertisements and names they put in to make it exciting.

1. I enjoyed watching this clip. The shots work together and in such a fashion, whereby information and entertainment become two synonymous features to describe TOP CHEF.
2. This clip inspires some action to watch, partial excitement towards the season's TOP CHEF judges and fairly imbues a conflict of interest dilemma among the competitors. The mentioning of Healthy Choice seemed jarred from the clip as a whole and served at best as an keying function for the competitors to work for rather than speaking directly to hungry audience members.
3. The video's composition promoted itself, not the product placement (Healthy Choice).
